Spector & Bennett's managing shareholder, Ross A. Spector, received his B.A. in economics and M.B.A. (International Business) from Tulane University. His J.D. is from the University of San Francisco where he was a member of the University of San Francisco Law Review. Mr. Spector also received mediation training at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution of Pepperdine University's School of Law. Mr. Spector is admitted to the State Bar of California, the Bar of the District of Columbia, all United States District Courts in the State of California, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Columbia and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. While Mr. Spector is a tenacious litigator, he has represented clients in more than 150 mediations with a 90% resolution rate. Representative clients include FedEx Corporation, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Attorney General of Canada, Pacific Capital Bancorp, Xerox Corporation and Gryphon Airlines.
